With profound sadness, we share the passing of Michael Rosenau of Aumsville, Oregon, who tragically lost his life in an ATV accident. His sudden departure has left an unfillable void in the hearts of his loved ones, but his legacy of love, faith, and generosity will continue to shine brightly in the lives of all who knew him.
Originally from Riverside, California, Michael later made his home in Turner, Oregon. He attended Cascade Junior High School and later studied at Linn-Benton Community College, where his warm personality and genuine spirit made him a friend to many.
Michael was known for his deep compassion, his unwavering faith, and his joyful outlook on life. He touched countless hearts through his words, actions, and unshakable belief in the goodness of others. A devoted Christian, he had a special gift for sharing the gospel and bringing people closer to God. His involvement with Young Life was a true reflection of his calling—he lived to serve, encourage, and inspire those around him.
Friends remember Michael as someone who never met a stranger. His smile could light up any room, his laughter was contagious, and his kindness was sincere. He had an incredible gift for making people feel loved, seen, and valued. Whether he was offering a helping hand, sharing words of encouragement, or simply being a shoulder to lean on, Michael’s heart was always open to others.
One close friend shared, “Everyone who had the chance to know Michael was truly blessed. He radiated kindness and carried the light of Christ wherever he went. I am forever grateful for the time we shared.” Another recalled, “Michael had a deep love for Jesus and a heart for people. I know without a doubt he is now in heaven, wrapped in the arms of our Savior.”
